Personal Brand Sketches and Drafts
After brainstorming and collecting opinions on my awesome personality I was able to come up with concepts and ideas that describe Lindsey LeFevre as a person. I then took those ideas and made a list of things I associate those words with.
I then made a ton of sketches. I would sketch different ideas and concepts until I found one I fancied and then I would make a set of variations of my favorites. I really liked the idea of a pineapple of owl icon and I made a lot of sketches of those to see what ideas I could come up with.
On Tuesday I was able to meet with some of my classmates who are working on the same project for themselves and I got some good feedback. Everyone seems to like the pineapple I’ve been working on. Most of my favorites were other people’s favorites, which is reassuring. I was a little surprised when they also favored some I hadn’t given much thought to. Getting feedback has been SO helpful in this process.
I then just recently started to create vector versions of the top favorite sketches. I still need to get some quality feedback on the vectors, but I am pleased with how they have turned out. I also need to work on the color schemes and nail those down. I do know that I like bright and vibrant colors, so that will help me to decide.
