Pom Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice

I am definitely the kind of person that will pay a little more for a product that has a more appealing package. Of course I have my limits, but when it comes to spending an extra 50 cents to get a cool looking water bottle, I am down!

The packaging of food truly has an influence on how well the item will sell. The same goes for photography. If you can make a water bottle look awesome in a photo, people will think it is awesome and spend money to purchase that awesomely photographed water bottle.
Photographing these packaged food items was a lot of fun! For the Voss Water and the Unbreakable Bond perfume I used a soft white box with continuous LED lights as well as speed lights to add additional light. The soft box helped to give an overall soft lighting to the products.

For the Pom Pomegranate Juice, Toblerone, and Crystal Light Liquid I went outside in the rain to capture these. Because of the rain clouds I got dispersed light on the packaged products as well. My roommate Kerri Anne helped me a lot with picking the best images. She helped me to see things I hadn’t noticed in my lighting and composition.
