This was my first time trying outdoor light painting. We were up at the Sky Mountain Lodge in Victor, Idaho.  I used the same technique as Dave Black to light up my subjects.  I used  a long exposure of 30 seconds and ISO of 100. Then I was able to light up my subjects with a large flash light.  I had help from fellow classmates on these photos so that I could light up subjects that were far away.

To be honest, outdoor light painting didn’t exactly melt my butter this first time around, but it was a good experience. I would like to try this type of photography again now that I know how the basics work.
