Incredible Fine Art
This is my third time printing and hanging an incredible fine art piece – at least I think it is pretty incredible! Just a year ago I never would have dreamed of having my art work hang in a beautiful frame for the entire university to see. My Pepsi Spray image will be hanging in the Spori Building on BYU-Idaho’s campus from June 11 thru June 14, 2015.
I took this photo on an excursion to the Sky Mountain Lodge in Victor, Idaho. I used a spray bottle to create the sparkling mist and a speed light to light up the background. This a technique I came up with on my own and it creates a really neat effect. I plan on creating more images like this and taking the creativity further. The goal is always to capture incredible images that will become pieces of fine art. I would like to try more commercial photography like this and hopefully find my niche in the world of photography.
Fstoppers.com features even more incredible fine art pieces that will inspire you!
You did a great job with this Lindsey! I love that you captured an action shot in perfect stillness. The water almost looks like glitter! I’m so impressed. The lighting is very fitting and you managed to keep the Pepsi bottles in focus! Lucky you! Congrats on your third print! I’m so glad you chose this picture! It’s beautiful. You are so talented at product photography! That mist on the Pepsi is just gorgeous! It’s kind of making me thirsty right now…
Ahh I love this shot so much! I remember being pretty confused when I saw you spraying a bunch of bottles with a speed light in your hand, but it turned out so well! I love how you’re always looking for different angles in your shots. I got a really fun shot up at Yellowstone a couple weeks ago. Check it out!
Good job Lindsey and congrats! You’ve done so much with your photography lately and I’m impressed. You picked a good frame for that piece too!
