Group Portrait Photography

Posing groups of random people…

Sometimes you get a group of friends together and you shoot them. With a camera.  Groups are interesting to shoot because you get all sorts of body types and personalities in one photo.

For outside photography you will often need to bring in external lighting equipment to balance the light. For my outdoor images I used a speed light and a high F-stop at 11 so I could get good lighting and good focus.

Composition is one area I am always working on.  My fellow photographer, Douglas Phan, helped me to choose the best way to crop my photos so that I could showcase my friends.

Scape Photography is great at capturing people from a new perspective and capturing the light.
