Journeys DDA in Eastern Idaho

For my Professional Imaging class I had to have a custom client shoot and here is what happened!

Process:

I was asked by my roommate, Cira Fear, to take photos for her public relations campaign to help Journeys DDA. I sat down with Cira and the rest of her PR team and we discussed the goal of the campaign and the role the images would play.  They gave me an idea of the type of images they were looking for and we planned out when to go to the different facilities and take the photos.

APM:

I met with the PR team for Journeys on the 11th of May, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. to discuss the goals before going out on the first shoot for the campaign. We went on three excursions total because we had to work around the schedules of the people I would be photographing.

Execution / Evaluation:

I feel like the shoots with Journeys went pretty well.  It was difficult taking photos of the facilities because I felt like there was only so much I could do with the buildings.  The people I photographed were a lot more fun and I got to take fun family portraits and well as professional staff images.  I didn’t realize how long the excursions would be, but I feel like I got some really good images.

Final delivery:

I delivered the first batch of photos within two weeks of the last shoot and then I got all of the rest delivered this past weekend.
